Project Information

Introduction

Many of these children live with physically debilitating disabilities that affect their
daily life. These disabilities range from minimal to severe physical barriers; spina bifida, cerebral palsy,down syndrome, hypotonia, and etc.

Purpose of project

The goal of the team is to create an adaptable product that can be easily modified depending on the child’s need. The team believe that it is important for children with limited mobility to be able to interact with the world through their own hands. Therefore, the product must not be very restricting but must also provide enough securement and support options. The team is also looking to create a product that will add a new dimension of safety and operation for the child and their parent.
